I will never ever forget about this trip. It seems Obamacare added extra spice on it. It was Government shutdown time when we went to Colorado, Denver. It was peak fall time in early October of 2013 also. I had lot of dream and wish about this place and photo shoot here and the disgusting Government shutdown screwed up everything! Yes, it literally messed up my all plan :( Since I can’t cancel/postpone my trip for Airline restrictions I had to go after knowing that it would be real tough.
After reaching to Aspen we came to know that the bus road closed 6.5 miles before the Maroon Lake. So we plan to take mountain bike from bike rental station 30$ per bike for 4-6 hrs. Drove uphill ~6.5 miles before we reach to Maroon Lake. The bicycle ride was so horrible and painful and I am never gonna forget this. You can imagine that in uphill it took ~2 hrs for us to reach while in downhill we covered the same distance in 10 minutes. Fortunately I was with my friend so it was not such painful for me. Anyways, but the ride is worth because the scenic beauty was jaw dropping. This is not such great picture but I kept it here because of my long length of memory associated with it with long story obviously :) Usually other angle of Maroon lake is good for snap and during either sunrise or sunset time. But, better luck next time. Yes, I have this in plan for next year for sure. Stay tuned !
