This was a great hiking trip to Ebenalp mountain of Appenzell Alps at Summer of 2011. This journey was in my 3rd time visit in Switzerland. The Ebenalp (1,640 mt) is the northernmost summit of the Appenzell Alps. The mountain is a popular hiking destination and has been accessible by cable car from Wasserauen.
I had started from Geneva early morning but can’t reach there until 11:30 AM. Take the cable car to reach the mountain top. The view was literally amazing with full blown greenery and this is important spot for lot of paraglider’s .They are frequent flyers from here. I wait for few minutes here and took some shots before move ahead for hiking route to Seealpsee, another mountain lake. After crossing amazing tiny mountain hut I hit to this place. I took lot of pictures around this area before I complete my French lunch in Swiss mountain restaurant. I will gradually upload all of them to my galleries. This green meadow is just way ahead of lake Seealpsee and its stunning beautiful place can’t express in few words until and unless you see it in your eyes and feel it from inside. This is typical Swiss picture with Cows, Swiss Huts and green meadows. Overall it was one of my great days. I have lot of other memories with return trip as it was in rush and hectic but managed to get into last train to Geneva finally !
